Homecoming / As Above So Below is an installation-driven project that examines memory as a spatial and embodied condition rather than a fixed narrative. The work explores how personal and collective histories surface through fragmentation, repetition, and symbolic form, positioning memory as something that is entered, navigated, and reassembled.
The project unfolds as an immersive environment integrating large-scale painting, sculptural elements, and architectural interventions. Works are arranged to create thresholds and passages, encouraging the viewer to move physically through layered visual and psychological spaces.
This project marks a culmination of di Masternak’s ongoing inquiry into transformation and remembrance, expanding her practice toward museum-scale installations where painting operates as environment and experience rather than image alone.
